How it All Started
Since 1967 City Transit Mix has been a leader in the Ready Mix industry. A 3rd generation concrete producer that has been a part of a majority of the New York City construction works. Our contracts include the JFK and LaGuardia Airports, BQE extension among other notable ones. City Transit Mix’s experience is measured in centuries, not decades, the amount of concrete poured is measured not just in millions of cubic feet but in the trust bestowed upon it, by its clients.
Our very existence over more than half a century is solely due to the quality of our product. This is proven by the fact that we have never faced a single low-quality concrete litigation throughout our existence. Our business is built on three unshakable pillars that have supported us and our clients’ trust since 1967: Quality, Integrity, and Service. Finally, we take pride not just in the quality of our product but also in the quality of service we have provided and vowed to provide to our clients. We are a part of the local 282 and a proud union member.
